Before becoming a student, I recommend you to receive a driving license. It is so comfortable if you have your own driving license, as you are not depend on anyone; if you have your car, you may drive at that very place you want without asking your dad, your older sister, or your friend to give you  a lift. You are saving rather good money on commute, moreover, with the help of the car you are saving your time.
